Remember Who Is With You
Good morning family, in today’s devotion, let’s talk about today’s thought, “Remember Who Is With You”.
Today’s thoughts come from Hebrews 13:5-6 which says, “for He had saith, I will never leave you nor forsake you. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”.
.A familiar story “Footprints In The Sand” was written by Mary Stevenson Zangare in 1936 and goes…
One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints my child, is when I carried you.”
Can I tell you today that you are never, never, never alone in this world. He may be invisible, but it is undeniable that the Father, your Creator, is standing beside you everyday, even this very moment. You may not feel Him or even sense His presence, but He didn’t promise that you would feel him near, He promised that He would never leave you.
Pray with me: Father, I thank you today that No matter how I may feel, no matter what weapons may be formed against me, they won’t succeed, simply because You Lord are my helper, my sustainer, and my protector. Thank you today that no matter what, you are always with me. I stop to remember who is with me. Amen.
Remember to make time in your busy life to become a part of a good weekly Bible Study group so you can connect with others, build you faith, and learn and grow together as a family; because the truth of life is, you can’t succeed alone.
